Children's Monologues

Children's Monologues

Young performers in this innovative four-week course will have an opportunity like no other, for as well as learning established children’s monologues and developing a repertoire of pieces suitable for audition or showreel, the tutor Kirsty Budding will also write a brand new monologue for each child. This monologue will be customised to the performer’s unique interests and performance strengths, with children having input into the theme or prompt and Kirsty tailoring the piece to challenge and showcase their emotional range as a performer.

At the end of the four weeks, performers will present a showcase of monologues for family and friends and have a collection of monologue scripts they have learnt to take away.

PRE-REQUISITES: Performers enrolling in this course must have the commitment to learn lines, the confidence to perform alone, and the desire to build up a repertoire of performance pieces suitable for audition and performance.
