ABOUT THE PLAY
'A Christmas Carol Goes Horribly, Terribly Wrong’ is a new, irreverent farce written and directed by Kirsty Budding. Stylistically inspired by plays like ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ and ‘Noises Off’, but drawing on experiences and personalities in the Canberra theatre scene, this play is a send up of amateur theatre in all its technically flawed, under-rehearsed and poorly-reviewed glory! Get ready for the director’s notes, the stage manager’s meltdown, and everyone’s missed cues as these hilarious theatre personalities scrape together a very missable yet somehow unforgettable production of ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Now casting adults for a range of comedic roles. Excellent comedic timing, expression and tone required! Beginners and experienced actors welcome. A youth version will be performed in the same week by Budding Theatre drama students.
