UPDATE: 7.15PM SUNDAY TEEN CLASS NOW ENROLLING (From noon Sat 6 July onwards)

“You’re a wizard, Harry…” The Term 2 teens voted and there was a resounding YES for a HILARIOUS parody production of HARRY POTTER. In the style of parody shows like the wildly successful “Potted Potter” and “A Very Potter Musical”, our Potter Parody will feature all the familiar characters like Harry, Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, Dumbledore, Draco, Luna, Snape, McGonagall, Voldemort, Dobby and more - on a magical adventure of our own making…

  1. As usual, performers will audition at Class 1. For this audition, each performer is required to choose one page from a Harry Potter book of their choice. The page must feature dialogue from at last two characters, with the performer being as creative and funny as possible in acting out the scenario, voice, expression and movement of each character! Performers can choose if they keep the narrative voice (performing a narrator voice as well as at least two characters) or only the dialogue.

  2. Performers will be given a role (or more than one role!) and will be given partial scenes and scene prompts from the course tutor. At classes, we will run the scene openings and improvise the rest to develop a final production that includes the creative ideas and comedic input of all performers.
